Interesting, helping to fight "a losing battle"......in my way of interpreting this, you're not only stating your faults or what you think you've done wrong, but also revealing a bit of your reasoning as to why you did or didn't do something......well, that may be too deep an interpretation, but I enjoyed it well enough
